INTRODUCTION

The designated project CasaVantag, intends to guide construction or restoration, distinguishing itself by aesthetic and technical principles, derived from the promoters' professional experience - in art galleries and insurance surveys.  Although not exclusively, the CasaVantag project intended for housing properties.

AESTHETIC PRINCIPLES

The dominant colours are white, on the interior / exterior walls, and the Vantag colour (lavender)

in a softer tone on the main facade.  In contrast, we prefer wood or black tones in furniture or design.

In terms of art, there will be the following possibilities:

- traditional= paintings (e.g. a full wall photo panel), art multiples or sculptures;

-  innovative =  insert the artwork directly into the building

(such as, making a gap in the wall for acrylic artwork);

- or, as a reference to the historic fresco technique, painting directly on the wall.

Elements were created for the unique needs of the house:

  table in bedroom # 2, considering the stairwell,

extending the aesthetics used in the handrail;

- closet in the master bedroom;

the kitchen cabinets had a specific finish and a unique design.

TECHNICAL PRINCIPLES

Based on, the already mentioned, experience in insurance expertise and taking into account that

any small fault causes extensive works, destruction of walls, etc.,

we favor accessibility in the usual points of intervention:

water network (internal plumbing and external gutters) and electrical installation/heating.

Thus, a technical area was created through which all the pipes pass,

which, if necessary, can be intervened without damaging the walls and painting.

As an example, the plumbing used PEX technology and the kitchen counter,

washbasin bases, shelves in the bathrooms and the counter/table in the 1st room,

the innovative material Corian® by DuPont™.

On the terraces and roofs, several layers of materials

were used to ensure complete waterproofing.

PRECEDENTS

Previously, as a first experience in the former facilities of the Vantag Gallery,

we had the work of Daniela Ramalho.
